Lawson M3 Enterprise Management System
In the future, companies will partner for competitive advantage, building supply chains excelling in every aspect of their operation. But companies excelling in their own fields may find themselves excluded from these supply chains if their technical foundations are incompatible with popular standards. Technological adaptability is paramount, and Lawson’s M3 Enterprise Management System was developed with this imperative in mind.

Lawson Software’s CRM and ASP Moves – Wise, Bold, Injudicious, Enforced, or Something Else?
Two recent moves by Lawson Software have stunned the market: 1) it discontinued its in-house CRM development in favor for partnering with Siebel Systems, and 2) it announced the intention to deliver its product also via 3rd-party Application Service Providers (ASPs). We express our views in this regard.

Both vendors tout WPF ’s rich UIs that support virtually infinite customizations and business process compositions using Microsoft applications. Other Microsoft-centric ISVs either support only a limited number of specific and prescriptive business scenarios, or use a combination of technology products (for example, Microsoft Office Business Applications (OBAs ),

Sage , Consona , Lawson Software , Oracle , and Epicor Software . The market leader SAP has not yet been plagued by major layoffs per se, although there have been rumors/reports about the recently enacted stringent internal corporate-wide cost-cutting policies, such as restricted traveling, training, events, and so on . I am indeed aware of the fact that there was no traditional SAP Influencer/Analyst Summit this past fall/winter, after several years of being a major winter event solely for industry

Agresso Bucks the Slump (and Fights the “ERP Madness”) – Part 2 » The TEC Blog
year ago I analyzed Lawson Software’s similar viral video ad attempt . Lawson had the right idea to go for humor and counter-positioning against the ERP giants, but the execution came a bit short to my mind. Namely, there was not much cleverness in that video from an art, production, predictability, or any other standpoint. Conversely, Agresso’s ad comes off like a real commercial and you just never know what’s going to happen to that poor guy who doesn’t like a minor change (despite all the
